tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6575430692484245474.post5791575819968405530..comments2023-03-27T05:33:05.531-07:00Comments on Simplifying Life: Cooking In The KitchenCarlye Jean Rankinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16564754834530285596noreply@blogger.comBlogger2125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6575430692484245474.post-24564205051272874522012-04-14T07:21:28.439-07:002012-04-14T07:21:28.439-07:00Meatloaf - 1 lb ground beef, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup Itali...Meatloaf - 1 lb ground beef, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs, 1/2 red onion chopped, celery (we used the leaves from the inside stalks), salt/pepper, garlic garlic (tastefully simple) and 4 tbsp. prego sauce (you can use tomato sauce or ketchup but I didn't have those) <br /><br />Mix together, form in loaf - bake 350 for 45 min.<br /><br />Chicken and Biscuits: <br /><br />the biscuits were pillsbury. :D <br /><br />boil 2 chicken breasts (we used bone in) until cooked. then pull off and dice it up. <br /><br />for the gravy, we used two packets of chicken gravy - mix chicken with it after it is all cooked <br /><br />Pour chicken gravy mixture over the biscuits and serve with mashed potatoes and green beans (or whatever else you may have) <br /><br />Very easy. Not southern - we are northern. lol They are good.
