30 Day House Cleaning Challenge Day 5 and 6

I know the picture of my daughter has nothing to do with cleaning but I wanted to share a picture from this morning. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of sprinkle-chocolate chip pancakes! It has started to become a tradition! Saturday Pancakes!

Don't they look so delicous?! A fun and simple way to be creative with breakfast. 

After breakfast, Nathan and I sat down while the girls took a nap to watch a couple shows. I love Saturdays. 

Nathan left after that to get his haircut and to mow the lawn. I took this time to start cleaning. 

I...

- dusted in all the rooms (living room, 2 bedrooms and playroom)
- vacuumed in all the rooms
- put laundry away
- made lunch
- cleaned out the fridge 

Yesterday, I took the day to wash a couple loads of laundry and cleaned the kitchen - so there were no dishes in the sink when Nathan came home. He was very happy. :D 

We also took a nice little walk around the neighborhood today. We were going to grill out but are saving that for tomorrow. Tonight, we will have tacos or nachos with leftover chicken. Yummy! 

I hope you all were able to get something you wanted done. Now enjoy the rest of your Saturday! 

{Tomorrow is a day off...unless there are dishes. lol}

    Your pancakes look yummy! I have found myself cooking breakfast more this weekend because I am waking up to a clean kitchen (due to the challenge). Keep at it!

      Thanks! I have been trying to make breakfast more lately since our cereal stock has been low and I am have been enjoying it. Isn't it so nice to wake up to a clean kitchen. :D

      Thanks Melinda! Just box pancake mix with sprinkles and chocolate chips. Easy!
