New Update!

I am still really bad at writing on this blog, but I am still going to try to keep it updated.
As of recent, Nathan and I found out that we are expecting our first child. Her name is Hailey Morgan Rankin. We are so excited. This new addition has brought us some more decisions to make and that would include: buying a house.
We just started the search for our first home, today. It was so much fun. I can't wait until we find that one house we will purchase. Ty would love to have a yard to run around in. And I would be extremely happy with that since, I wouldn't have to walk him every time he has to go to the bathroom.
Anyways, Nathan received a promotion at his work, CBMC Inc. He is now a Controller, which means he is in charge of handling the financial accounts for the company. He works hard and gives a lot of his extra time to make sure all the work is done and correct. I am very proud of him. Who wouldn't be. :-D
Wednesday night, I had a Mary Kay Shower hosted by Amy Kyriakidis (who I worked with at the Acropolis and baby sat her beautiful daughter). It was amazing. I got a bunch of things to pamper myself with. Tomorrow is our first baby shower, well a diaper shower at Charles and Kristy's house. I can't wait! Then on March 20th, I will have another baby shower in Pa. My Nana and Aunt Deanne are throwing that one. It will be co-ed, so the men will bring a pack a diapers and hang out with Nathan making wings and the ladies will bring gifts for the baby and hang out with me. I am so thankful for everything that everyone is doing for us.
We have already received a bunch of things for Hailey. I had to buy extra storage bins for her belongings. And a lot of stuff is at Nathan's parents house. (i.e. the nursery set, play things, and lots of clothes) I am beginning to wonder where we are going to put all of her stuff when we get back from Erie.

What else...Oh, I am now a Tastefully Simple Consultant. My website is www.tastefullysimple.com/web/crankin. Check it out to see what it is all about. And if you would like to host a party for me, let me know! I would love to come to your home and show you and your friends our wonderful products.

And finally, Nathan and I just starting going to small group at Calvary Chapel. We are in different groups---men with men and women with women. I love my group. They live around the same area I do and are wonderful to spend time with. We are learning about community within the Church. It is wonderful. And God knows that that is what I need. This coming Wednesday, I will be sharing my story. This is where I pick the three people, three places, and three events that have impacted my life. That is hard to narrow down, but I am excited.
