Grocery and Deal Shopping!!!

I was hoping today was going to be very relaxing with nothing to do but of course...life happens. I haven't exactly been keeping up with all the deals going on so it took me a little while to figure out where I was going to go shopping today. 

I chose only 3 places...CVS, Publix and Aldi. I only needed a few things from CVS and Publix so they were both very quick...in and out! Aldi took me a little longer because I purchased most of our groceries from there. Also, I had to buy 22 packs of hamburger buns for our neighborhood's national night out. I have about 20 more packs to buy but didn't want to take all the buns. :-D

Anyways, here is what I got! 

- 1 Kotex Liners (50 ct) 3.49 minus 1.00 q = 2.49 get 2.00 ecb
- 1 Finish Gelpacs (20 ct) 2.99 minus .65 q = 2.34 
- 1 Bengay 5.99 minus 5.00 q = .99 get 2.00 ecb


Subtotal before coupons: $12.47 
After coupons and ecbs: .82 plus 1.15 tax = $1.97 with $4 ECB


Total saved: 16.15!!!!

Total Saved: $10.44 (The candy bars were for a friend of mine who just had her just had her first baby...she was in need of something sweet!) 

This was my biggest trip. We were in need of a good amount of groceries since we were out of town last week.

Super excited! Hopefully having to purchase groceries this week will keep our grocery budget very low for August.
