Goals for the rest of the year!

Life is finally getting back to normal (some what). I am actually getting sleep, Nathan's work schedule is back to normal - he took off for a week when Harper was born and he bought me a car a little over a week ago! (Pictures to come!) And Hailey is starting to adjust to life with another baby in the house.

I had some time the other day to sit down and write out some goals that I have. And let me tell you...there are a lot. Here is my list:

1. Start Clean Eating -

I have been making the transition into this - now I just need to stop eating processed foods and we will be good. :D

2. Join a gym -

I am in the process of deciding where I would like to join. My options are Planet Fitness $10 to $20 per month, the BX (Brainerd Baptist Church) $75 per year (per person) and another one downtown (can't think of the name) $15 per month. I am really thinking about Planet Fitness - the BX is way cheaper but they have specific hours and Planet Fitness is open 24/7 - I like to sometimes go workout late at night. We shall see.

3. Lose 30 pounds -

This will put me at 125 lbs. Since having Harper, I have lost 22 lbs.

4. Organize our home.

5. Minimize our belongings -

I have done this a few times already but there is still so much we could do without. My husband is rubbing off on me - he is a minimalist and I am a sentimentalist.

6. Read through the entire Bible -

I am 5 days in.

7. Continue to work with Hailey on speaking in sentences as well as getting her out of the house more for educational purposes.

8. Keep a strict budget.

9. Pay off debt.

10. Spend less and save more!

11. Get my stockpile back to where it should be -

I am running low on a lot of items!

------------------------------------

Well there you have it - my goals for the rest of the year. I wanted to write them on here so I would be held accountable. I will keep you updated on my progress.

  1. Thanks for sharing your goals!! We have many that are the same. My husband and I are trying to eat more clean and be fit, too. Our apartment complex has a gym, pool and tennis courts - my husband uses the gym and we both use the tennis courts to play badminton. Such fun!

I read the Bible daily. I'm about 75% through my regular Bible and started reading a chapter in my Amplified Bible this year. I may need to figure out a plan to finish my regular Bible this year :)

Our goal is to pay off all our debt this year. We have one student loan left. So excited to be debt free!!!

  2. These are some great goals, lots of big ones. Good luck! I was pretty slow the first few months after having a baby :)
