In my previous post, I shared that I am doing the Daniel Fast for 21 days this month. I wanted to check in to share how everything was going.
I am going to be real honest with you all here and share something...
Starting Weight: 160.8
Weight as of this morning: 151.6
Total Lost: 9.2 lbs
I am very happy with that since I need to lose about 35 pounds. I love this fast because it is giving my body a jump start on making it a habit to eating healthy.
It has taken a lot of prayer and reading God's Word to help me through the first week and I know that will need to be continued. My strength is not enough.
I have gone out to eat a few times and to a birthday party but did not break from the fast. Nathan reminded me that I would regret it if I did. He was right.
I am looking forward to seeing what new things I learn about myself and my eating habits. More importantly how to be healthier in this new year.
